About Coastal Boats
Coastal Boats has now moved to Kampot in Cambodia after operating in Thailand for seventeen years. Our main focus now is on aluminum construction and we have a top team of aluminum welders and fabricators. We are also skilled in all facets of fiberglass construction; standard GRP and especially epoxy/PVC foam sandwich and epoxy/ply cold molding.
However, we have concentrated on the market for commercial aluminum vessels over the past 15 years and this diversification has kept us moving forward.
We have developed new infrastructure on land beside the river in Kampot. Development was started in 2020 and a final factory extension has just been completed to enable us to have three Mumby 48 Cyber sailing catamarans under construction.
Our factory is located on the opposite side of the river from Kampot town but is just a 15 minute drive from the town center. Kampot is approximately 4 hours by car south of Phnom Penh.
A ferry for the Yeppoon to Pumpkin Island (Queensland, Australia) route was delivered, a fast 48 pax ferry is now in operation in Indonesia and a 12M landing craft is now operating in DRC.
