Need a 'People Mover'?.
This Malcolm Tennant designed ferry meets customer demand for a 25 knot, full load operating speed and 60 pax capacity. The design uses the very efficient CS [canoe stern] hull shape and cost effective flat panel construction for topsides, wing deck and superstructure. The ferry has proven operation of 18 hours a day for 7 days a week on Hong Kong Harbour with fuel useage of only 3.6 litres [ 0.95 US gals] per nautical mile at 25 knots in full load condition.
