Chris Craft Replica Boats
Some years ago we had a niche market for Chris Craft replica boats and exported several of these ranging from 18′ – 26′ to USA and Sweden. The boats were framed using Mai Takiaan a Thailand timber species extensively proven for boat building over many years. The hull was formed, using the cold molding method, from three layers of 4mm marine plywood. Mahogany veneer was vacuum bagged to the final layer of strip marine plywood on the hull sides as planking, bottom is painted with polyurethane paint. Decks were made with solid mahogany plank/ash planks.
Exterior finish for these boats was clear polyurethane carefully sprayed and sanded between coats.
Interior of the boats were finished in solid and veneer mahogany.
Power in all the boats was a single Indmar 350hp gasoline engine coupled to a Hurth 1:1 gearbox.

Steel Trawler Yacht
This design from the Bruce Roberts design office was manufactured at our Thailand facility 20 years ago and exported to Singapore. The vessel materials arrived as a CNC cut kitset which made hull, decks and superstructure construction easy and fast. The displacement of this boat was 49 tons and it was a large job for our small yard.
Electrical installation was done by a professional electrician and propulsion was John Deere 6068 SFM rated M4@2,500rpm with Twin Disc MG 5061 SC gear. Good quality hardware and fittings mostly imported from Australia, USA or Taiwan were used in construction and the vessel will has stood the ‘test of time’.
